Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Virgílio Teixeira took the kick off in the first half of the match. Walmyr Zonta charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walmyr Zonta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Catarinense in the 8th minute of play forced Real Fantasma's goalkeeper Marcel Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sílvio Magalhães got free with Waldir Pontes in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, Xandeco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Salles came free, but Waldir Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcel Perez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamim Gomes's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. When Flavinho Soeiro fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Fantasma's protests and gave Flavinho Soeiro a yellow card for diving instead. Jorge Oliveira's late challenge caught a Real Fantasma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Oliveira helped the player get up and apologised. Jorge Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Virgílio Teixeira took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Perez. Marcel Perez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Real Fantasma's Marcel Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgílio Teixeira in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Xandeco FC's zone, Denílson Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldir Pontes came out of the goal and Denílson Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walmyr Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldir Pontes having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Felipe Couto made the kick off in the second half. If Felipe Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Xandeco FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jorge Oliveira hit a great ball. Sílvio Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Waldir Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walmyr Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldir Pontes having to interfere. Sílvio Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Marcel Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Teixeira in the 63rd minute of play. When Walmyr Zonta was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. The supporters of Xandeco FC booed when Real Fantasma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmyr Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamim Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Marcel Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Felipe Couto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waldir Pontes was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Sílvio Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 83 minutes into the match, Xandeco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Couto came free, but Waldir Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Real Fantasma's Denílson Salles got a free kick in the 84th minute. Felipe Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Xandeco FC's Virgílio Teixeira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. When the final whistle went the supporters of Xandeco FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Real Fantasma side.
