After a rather tough play, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Sílvio Mazza got a free kick in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Tombolo Wa Kadima Van Damme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sílvio Luiz das Neves. Litoral EC - CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tombolo Wa Kadima Van Damme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Virgílio Rodrigues fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.E. Pindorama Eagles's protests and gave Virgílio Rodrigues a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to S.E. Pindorama Eagles getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Virgílio Rodrigues hit a great ball. After 18 played minutes, Litoral EC - CIMZ's João Augusto Linares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper André Rosado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Litoral EC - CIMZ reached it. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Litoral EC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz das Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ricardinho Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sílvio Mazza charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sílvio Mazza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Litoral EC - CIMZ getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Sílvio Mazza hit a great ball. André Rosado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Vander in the 29th minute of play. Ricardinho Vander did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised André Rosado 34 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Litoral EC - CIMZ's Ulisses Munhoz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of André Rosado. That made the score 2-1 after 38 minutes of play. André Rosado was a little too slow when Sílvio Mazza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardinho Vander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Vander in the 52nd minute of play forced S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goalkeeper André Rosado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sílvio Mazza scored 4-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Rosado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 57 minutes of play, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Tombolo Wa Kadima Van Damme made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Luiz das Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th minute, Douglas Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Ricardinho Vander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Litoral EC - CIMZ's Sílvio Mazza in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goalie prevented a goal. Tombolo Wa Kadima Van Damme's late challenge caught a Litoral EC - CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tombolo Wa Kadima Van Damme helped the player get up and apologised. Tombolo Wa Kadima Van Damme hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Ricardinho Vander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Rosado was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. André Rosado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Vander in the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Litoral EC - CIMZ booed when S.E. Pindorama Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marquinhos Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ricardinho Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sílvio Mazza struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. André Rosado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Litoral EC - CIMZ. There was no doubt that Litoral EC - CIMZ were the better team. Litoral EC - CIMZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
