With his leg Haroldo Pitta managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Litoral EC - CIMZ's Ulisses Munhoz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sílvio Luiz das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedito Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardinho Vander in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haroldo Pitta saved Club Sacode Football CIMZ from getting behind. After having played for 96 minutes, Túlio Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Túlio Oliveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Club Sacode Football CIMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Sacode Football CIMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
