The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Doriva Vaz was the one to do the kick off. 50 minutes into the game, A.A. Francana's Armandinho Vergílio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albertinho Tasso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 54th minute Wiliam Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Telmo Trigo made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Doriva Vaz sent off a good shot on target. Evandro Lago scored 4-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albertinho Tasso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Doriva Vaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Telmo Trigo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Doriva Vaz ran back to his position shaking his head. 74 minutes into the game, Armandinho Vergílio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.A. Francana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talento Futebol clube the free kick. In the 74th match minute, A.A. Francana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armandinho Vergílio to maneuver through the defense. Doriva Vaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Telmo Trigo made a huge save. After 94 played minutes A.A. Francana got a freekick which was hit by Denílson Leite. Gilmar Queiroz might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Telmo Trigo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilmar Queiroz ran back to his position shaking his head. A.A. Francana's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
