Taquaritinga's Antônio Ferreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Clube Atl. Taquaritinga from getting a goal against them. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otávio Peixoto in the 7th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafinha Gonçalves during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Nicolas Furtado was substituted for Hélio Arruda. A collision led to S.E. Cachoeirinha getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Rafinha Gonçalves hit a great ball. The supporters of Clube Atl. Taquaritinga booed when S.E. Cachoeirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Carlinhos Baiano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for S.E. Cachoeirinha. Antônio Ferreira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nando Moreno showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Andrade in the 28th minute of play. Ismael de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otávio Peixoto in the 28th minute of play. When Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Humberto Andrade in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.E. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Fabinho Vinhas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Antônio Ferreira, 2-0. Antônio Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando Moreno in the 42nd minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goal looked a bit too open when Rafinha Gonçalves came free, but Antônio Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Fabinho Vinhas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antônio Ferreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0.

The audience was convinced that Humberto Andrade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael de Carvalho was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After 55 played minutes Clube Atl. Taquaritinga got a freekick which was hit by Cafu de Amorim. In the 56th match minute, S.E. Cachoeirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabinho Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. S.E. Cachoeirinha's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Humberto Andrade scored to the left of an out of position Ismael de Carvalho, making the score, 3-1. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save S.E. Cachoeirinha from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes into the match, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goal looked a bit too open when Nando Moreno came free, but Antônio Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Anselmo Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute of the match Fernandão Sampaio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antônio Ferreira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ismael de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Andrade in the 71st minute of the match. When Nando Moreno fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.E. Cachoeirinha's protests and gave Nando Moreno a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Nando Moreno. In the 74th minute of the match Carlinhos Baiano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ismael de Carvalho skillfully saved the ball. Ismael de Carvalho came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Délio Coelho. But to his dismay, Délio Coelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 80 minutes into the match, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Rafinha Gonçalves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antônio Ferreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafinha Gonçalves in the 84th minute of play forced Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goalkeeper Antônio Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Nando Moreno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antônio Ferreira. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nando Moreno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otávio Peixoto in the 92nd minute of play. After 92 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Arantes. Ismael de Carvalho acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Carlinhos Baiano. 95 minutes into the match, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's goal looked a bit too open when Fabinho Vinhas came free, but Antônio Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antônio Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Clube Atl. Taquaritinga players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for S.E. Cachoeirinha.
