Reginaldo Teixeira's late challenge caught a Ogro F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reginaldo Teixeira helped the player get up and apologised. Reginaldo Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 7thth minute of the game Reginaldo Teixeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ogro F.C.'s Elói Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner ended in Lauro Moura almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ogro F.C.'s Elói Lima did a great save. In the 10th match minute, Ogro F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Alves to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the S.E. Cachoeirinha defense, Evandro Passos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael de Carvalho. The S.E. Cachoeirinha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael de Carvalho should have stopped the shot. When Evandro Passos came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Ogro F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evandro Passos couldn't finish the play. Ismael de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Priester, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Albertinho Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ogro F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Albertinho Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael de Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evandro Passos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ismael de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hílton Alagoano during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Evandro Passos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ogro F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Aquiles Priester took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael de Carvalho. Ismael de Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The supporters of S.E. Cachoeirinha booed when Ogro F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Vítor Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Ogro F.C.'s Elói Lima got control of the ball when Rafinha Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evandro Passos was the one to do the kick off. Ismael de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Priester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisinho dos Santos in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th match minute, S.E. Cachoeirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reginaldo Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Ismael de Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evandro Passos. Ismael de Carvalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evandro Passos in the 84th minute. With a little luck, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho got control of the ball when Cauan Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line.
