Dida Braga stood somewhat misplaced when Dráuzio Sergipano came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 30 minute. 34 minutes into the game, Chiquinho Alcântara recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dida Braga. Chiquinho Alcântara showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Pernambucano in the 37th minute of play forced O MOTIVO ⚽'s goalkeeper Dida Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 minutes of play, Pesqueira City's Chiquinho Alcântara made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dida Braga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dráuzio Sergipano took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dida Braga. Dida Braga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1.

The wind increased when Válter Mattos made the kick off in the second half. Valdemar Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dida Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráuzio Sergipano, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 56 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's Chiquinho Alcântara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dida Braga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. O MOTIVO ⚽'s Dida Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráuzio Sergipano in the 60th minute of play. After some careless play in the O MOTIVO ⚽ defense, Valdemar Nascimento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dida Braga. The O MOTIVO ⚽ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dida Braga should have stopped the shot. Chiquinho Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Dida Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 71 minutes, Dráuzio Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pesqueira City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráuzio Sergipano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the O MOTIVO ⚽ defense, Dráuzio Sergipano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dida Braga. The O MOTIVO ⚽ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dida Braga should have stopped the shot. Dida Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráuzio Sergipano in the 79th minute of play. If Valdemar Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to O MOTIVO ⚽ getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Fábio Simão hit a great ball. Celsinho Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráuzio Sergipano in the 96th minute of play forced O MOTIVO ⚽'s goalkeeper Dida Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pesqueira City fans cheered their team off the field, for while O MOTIVO ⚽ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
