With a left leg Luís Fernando de Andrade saved União Verde FC from getting behind. Gilvan Pombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Belo Academy defense, Gilvan Pombal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felippe Guerra. The Belo Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felippe Guerra should have stopped the shot. Gilvan Pombal in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Felippe Guerra, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gilvan Pombal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Felippe Guerra skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rubens Félix in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fernando de Andrade saved União Verde FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubens Félix in the 29th minute of play forced União Verde FC's goalkeeper Luís Fernando de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Fernando de Andrade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rubens Félix's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rubens Félix was the one to do the kick off. Felippe Guerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Belo Academy getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Leopoldo Senna hit a great ball. Matheus Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felippe Guerra having to interfere. Daniel Mazza's late challenge caught a União Verde FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Mazza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Daniel Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Rubens Félix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Fernando de Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubens Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
