After a rather tough play, Samurai Champions FC's Mané Catarinense got a free kick in the 2nd minute. A collision led to Samurai Champions FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. João Pedro da Mata hit a great ball. Alexsandro Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubens Félix in the 11th minute of the match. Alexsandro Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubens Félix in the 41st minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mané Catarinense made a kick off. Belo Academy's Felippe Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renan Sena in the 51st minute of play. After 54 minutes, Leopoldo Senna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belo Academy and the Samurai Champions FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Belo Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Senna to maneuver through the defense. After 82 minutes Belo Academy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mané Catarinense who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Mané Catarinense almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Belo Academy's Felippe Guerra did a great save. After some careless play in the Belo Academy defense, Renan Sena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felippe Guerra. The Belo Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felippe Guerra should have stopped the shot. Alexsandro Netto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Quadros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mané Catarinense scored 2-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felippe Guerra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nando Custódio hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Montenegro was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent.
