União Verde FC's Luís Fernando de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Catarinense in the 6th minute of play. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind União Verde FC's goalkeeper Luís Fernando de Andrade, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeferson Amaral's late challenge caught a União Verde FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeferson Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. If Mané Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Augusto Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Mané Catarinense notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of União Verde FC's Luís Fernando de Andrade. Luís Fernando de Andrade was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Mané Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mané Catarinense in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fernando de Andrade saved União Verde FC from getting behind. Luís Fernando de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Mauro Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fernando de Andrade having to interfere. The supporters of Samurai Champions FC booed when União Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinícius Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mané Catarinense to make the kick off. Mané Catarinense received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luís Fernando de Andrade came out and tried to block the shot, but Mané Catarinense slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 65th minute. Valdomiro Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Fernando de Andrade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mané Catarinense in the 91st minute. Renan Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fernando de Andrade having to interfere. Samurai Champions FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
