Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Vicente Chaves made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute, Tarcisio Goiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 played minutes Cruzeiro Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Renatinho Linhares. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Válbson Carvalho in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aloísio Vargas saved Cruzeiro Esporte Clube from getting behind. Perivaldo Valle took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christiano Figueiredo. Christiano Figueiredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Renatinho Linhares came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Cruzeiro Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renatinho Linhares couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Naldo Guedes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christiano Figueiredo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 20th match minute, PREZULO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilson de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Christiano Figueiredo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Naldo Guedes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Perivaldo Valle got free with Christiano Figueiredo in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Chaves came free, but Christiano Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christiano Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naldo Guedes in the 34th minute of the match. 3-0 became the score in the 43rd minute when Renatinho Linhares elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Cruzeiro Esporte Clube made a substitution. Ian Abreu replaced Renatinho Linhares. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Válbson Carvalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amauri Cearense in the 56th minute of play forced Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Aloísio Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Abreu came free, but Christiano Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the PREZULO FC defense, Vicente Chaves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christiano Figueiredo. The PREZULO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christiano Figueiredo should have stopped the shot. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube made a substitution. Ramón Barbosa replaced Perivaldo Valle. PREZULO FC's Christiano Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Barbosa in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of PREZULO FC booed when Cruzeiro Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Simão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinand Puyol kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ian Abreu in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christiano Figueiredo saved PREZULO FC from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Cruzeiro Esporte Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
