Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) 100 Chance's Roberto Gerber started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Cruzeiro Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Adelino Simão hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, 100 Chance's Vicente Nogueira tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Cláudio Barral got a free kick in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Abreu in the 9th minute of play forced 100 Chance's goalkeeper Leopoldo Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes Cruzeiro Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Barral. In the 11th minute, Thiago Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute Naldo Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Vicente Chaves notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of 100 Chance's Leopoldo Cerezo. Leopoldo Cerezo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20th minute, Ian Abreu made a precise shot to the right of Leopoldo Cerezo. 100 Chance's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 30 minutes into the match, Vicente Chaves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Cerezo. 100 Chance's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Chaves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Ian Abreu scored 0-4 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leopoldo Cerezo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adelino Simão during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adelino Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Perivaldo Valle hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, 100 Chance's Roberto Gerber ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aloísio Vargas. Aloísio Vargas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. After 48 played minutes Cruzeiro Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Naldo Guedes. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With his leg Leopoldo Cerezo managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Vicente Chaves fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vicente Nogueira's late challenge caught a Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Nogueira helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, 100 Chance's Vicente Nogueira got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute of the match Adelino Simão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leopoldo Cerezo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leopoldo Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naldo Guedes in the 59th minute of play. Leopoldo Cerezo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Chaves in the 63rd minute. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Aloísio Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fábio Machado in the 64th minute of play. Ian Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Leopoldo Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Perivaldo Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Porto in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Cerezo saved 100 Chance from getting behind. In the 75th minute of the match Cruzeiro Esporte Clube got a corner. 100 Chance's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adelino Simão ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Adelino Simão got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leopoldo Cerezo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Oscar Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Adelino Simão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cruzeiro Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. 100 Chance's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Adelino Simão 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-6. Leopoldo Cerezo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naldo Guedes in the 86th minute. Adelino Simão hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Adelino Simão got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Adelino Simão off the ground. Adelino Simão hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. If Fábio Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, 100 Chance's Leopoldo Cerezo got control of the ball when Perivaldo Valle tried to sneak it across the goal line.
