Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adhemar Pinho kicked off to start the match. Cacá Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelinho Dias in the 3rd minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Deivid Moreira notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Figueira SC FSCMZ's Alexsandro Carioca. Alexsandro Carioca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 16 minutes into the game, Alex Gonçalves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Figueira SC FSCMZ the free kick. After 19 played minutes Figueira SC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Tadeu Alagoano. After a rather tough play, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Waldemar Maranhense got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Adhemar Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes Figueira SC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho Dias. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Alexsandro Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perivaldo Figueiredo in the 29th minute of play. Simão Arósio hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adhemar Pinho got free with Alexsandro Carioca in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Cristian Peres fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Figueira SC FSCMZ's protests and gave Cristian Peres a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th match minute, Figueira SC FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Peres to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute Waldemar Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Simão Pinheiro made the kick off in the second half. Alexsandro Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perivaldo Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Adhemar Pinho put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alexsandro Carioca. After 59 minutes, André Vides mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ and the Figueira SC FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by André Vides. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Joel Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Figueira SC FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Rosado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cacá Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexsandro Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adhemar Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Alex Gonçalves got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 84th minute Perivaldo Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexsandro Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Joel Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Perivaldo Figueiredo came free, but Alexsandro Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexsandro Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adhemar Pinho in the 93rd minute of play. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
