Glauco Soeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 7th match minute, Elite™- FC Galácticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elder Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. Elite™- FC Galácticos's Benedito Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute Iuri Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glauco Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Pedro Goiano during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 played minutes Elite™- FC Galácticos got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro Goiano. Benedito Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Arlindo Romero made a huge save. Elder Campidelis hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Glauco Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adhemar Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Arlindo Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Simão in the 44th minute of the match. Glauco Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adhemar Diniz in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Tróia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Glauco Soeiro got control of the ball when Adhemar Diniz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Glauco Soeiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adhemar Diniz went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Elder Campidelis's late challenge caught a ATHLETICO PRaiano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elder Campidelis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ATHLETICO PRaiano booed when Elite™- FC Galácticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elder Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Tróia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elite™- FC Galácticos's Glauco Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adhemar Diniz in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to Elite™- FC Galácticos getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Elder Campidelis hit a great ball. Gino Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The Elite™- FC Galácticos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ATHLETICO PRaiano's performance. The match ended with a win for ATHLETICO PRaiano.
