Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ian Cerezo made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd match minute, Brazil Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Dantas to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the game, Ian Cerezo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gilberto Abraão. Ian Cerezo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A hard shot 15 in the game by Basílio do Valle from a close distance when the talented Gilberto Abraão managed to make a qualified save. Brazil Academy's players were relieved. 17 minutes into the game, one of Brazil Academy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 21 minutes into the game, Carlos Fernando Aparecido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SE Palmeiras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brazil Academy the free kick. In the 22nd minute of the match Thomás Massa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nilson Dracena skillfully saved the ball. Ian Cerezo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gilberto Abraão came out and tried to block the shot, but Ian Cerezo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Cerezo in the 32nd minute of play forced Brazil Academy's goalkeeper Gilberto Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basílio do Valle scored 3-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilberto Abraão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Basílio do Valle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilberto Abraão. Brazil Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basílio do Valle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Nilson Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Torres in the 40th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Carlos Fernando Aparecido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for César Torres to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Brazil Academy's Vladimir Koehler slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nilson Dracena. That made the score 4-2 after 56 minutes of play. Nilson Dracena made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when César Torres sent off a good shot on target. Basílio do Valle charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basílio do Valle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Brazil Academy booed when SE Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio do Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Meira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Nilson Dracena made a huge save. SE Palmeiras's Nilson Dracena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save SE Palmeiras from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute of the match Zé Augusto Luz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilberto Abraão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Nilson Dracena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Meira. After a defensive mix-up in SE Palmeiras's zone, Armando Meira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson Dracena came out of the goal and Armando Meira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 79 minutes of play, Brazil Academy's Fiori Ferraz made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilson Dracena was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute, Murilo Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomás Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson Dracena having to interfere. Brazil Academy's Armando Meira got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 91 minutes, Vladimir Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brazil Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimir Koehler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, SE Palmeiras's Nilson Dracena got control of the ball when Armando Meira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nilson Dracena made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when César Torres sent off a good shot on target. Many of Brazil Academy's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Brazil Academy may have spent more time on the ball, but SE Palmeiras were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
