Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudinei Palmeira to make the kick off. After 79 minutes of play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Teodoro Neto made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeu Guerra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baltazar Nascimento came out and tried to block the shot, but Tadeu Guerra slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 90th minute. João Adolfo Hermes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Baltazar Nascimento made a huge save. 94 minutes into the game, Jarbas de Godoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC La Masia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barcellos Mineiro FC the free kick. In the 94th match minute, FC La Masia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarbas de Godoi to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Barcellos Mineiro FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC La Masia.
