Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Corumbaense F.C.'s Hélio da Silva started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hélio da Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Dalmo Sergipano made a huge save. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by FALCÕES VERDES's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hélio da Silva was slow to take the kick. During this time Corumbaense F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. In the 5th match minute, FALCÕES VERDES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Gerber to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago de Queiroz in the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of FALCÕES VERDES booed when Corumbaense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizão Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afonsinho Schmidt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nestor Teles. Corumbaense F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hélio da Silva in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dalmo Sergipano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luiz Guilherme Arósio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nestor Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmo Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Loyola in the 37th minute of the match. The supporters of Corumbaense F.C. booed when FALCÕES VERDES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, FALCÕES VERDES's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Loyola came free, but Dalmo Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute of the match Corumbaense F.C. got a corner. FALCÕES VERDES's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hélio da Silva ran over to the corner to take the kick. FALCÕES VERDES's Dalmo Sergipano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save FALCÕES VERDES from getting a goal against them.

The wind increased when Júlio Fonseca made the kick off in the second half. Dalmo Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Loyola in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélio da Silva in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dalmo Sergipano saved FALCÕES VERDES from getting behind. Humberto Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute Hélio da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the game, Júlio Fonseca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nestor Teles. Júlio Fonseca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Nestor Teles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júlio Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Clóvis Marinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nestor Teles. Corumbaense F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nestor Teles made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Maicon Diniz sent off a good shot on target. Dalmo Sergipano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubens Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The supporters of FALCÕES VERDES booed when Corumbaense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizão Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FALCÕES VERDES would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
