Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. César Ferreira started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Humberto Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernani Camargo kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes Leon Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Dorian Brito. When Rubens Soeiro fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corumbaense F.C.'s protests and gave Rubens Soeiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes Corumbaense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rubens Soeiro. 18 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Rubens Soeiro came free, but Beto Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Corumbaense F.C. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Luizão Teixeira hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Corumbaense F.C.'s goalkeeper Nestor Teles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandrinho Eger. After having played for 25 minutes, Hélio da Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corumbaense F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Hélio da Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Beto Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio da Silva in the 27th minute of play. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Hélio da Silva sped through Leon Sport Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Beto Valle. Humberto Loyola might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beto Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Humberto Loyola ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Corumbaense F.C.'s Humberto Loyola got a free kick in the 37th minute. Humberto Loyola hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Humberto Loyola received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Beto Valle came out and tried to block the shot, but Humberto Loyola slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 52nd minute. After some careless play in the Leon Sport Club defense, Hélio da Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beto Valle. The Leon Sport Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beto Valle should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Corumbaense F.C. getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Luiz Guilherme Arósio hit a great ball. In the 67thth minute of the game César Ferreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corumbaense F.C.'s Nestor Teles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 71 played minutes Corumbaense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Loyola. In the 75th minute, Corumbaense F.C.'s Humberto Loyola dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Corumbaense F.C.'s Rubens Soeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Corumbaense F.C. getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Luizão Teixeira hit a great ball. Beto Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Humberto Loyola dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Beto Valle, 0-7. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Corumbaense F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
