Teodoro Neto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Severino Madureira made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Júlio Brasil made the kick off in the second half. Clemente Prestes was shown his second yellow card after 51 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Clemente Prestes kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Galo Mineiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Dias in the 67th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Gil Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Teodoro Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barcellos Mineiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodoro Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Madureira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frederico Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Júlio Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Fellipe Souza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severino Madureira. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fellipe Souza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 95 minutes into the game, Murilo Mattos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A collision led to Barcellos Mineiro FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Murilo Mattos hit a great ball. Marcelinho Ramalho missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 96 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Gil Coelho right hand side.
