Dorian Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durvalino de Mendonça having to interfere. When Dráusio Gonçalves came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the The Power Guido FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dráusio Gonçalves couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, The Power Guido FC's Edmundo Prata got a free kick in the 12th minute. Durvalino de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilton Sanches in the 17th minute of play. After 19 played minutes The Power Guido FC got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Prata. After having played for 20 minutes, Nilton Sanches managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. America Futebol Clube SP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilton Sanches was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Durvalino de Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dorian Siqueira went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Dráusio Gonçalves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Zé Pedro de Queirós made a huge save. Zé Pedro de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráusio Gonçalves in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Dráusio Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 played minutes Dráusio Gonçalves rounded America Futebol Clube SP's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. In the 44th minute Dorian Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durvalino de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 played minutes America Futebol Clube SP got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo das Neves. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nilton Sanches in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Durvalino de Mendonça saved The Power Guido FC from getting behind. The The Power Guido FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. America Futebol Clube SP were winning 1-4.

Zé Pedro de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráusio Gonçalves in the 51st minute of the match. Nilton Sanches's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Durvalino de Mendonça skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Durvalino de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorian Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, America Futebol Clube SP's Rony Neiva got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in America Futebol Clube SP's zone, Edmundo Prata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Pedro de Queirós came out of the goal and Edmundo Prata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Durvalino de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilton Sanches in the 68th minute of the match. The Power Guido FC's Durvalino de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilton Sanches in the 69th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Durvalino de Mendonça successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Dorian Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráusio Gonçalves in the 83rd minute of play forced America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Zé Pedro de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
