After 3 minutes, Romário Pernambucano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Power Guido FC and the Florestal Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, The Power Guido FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romário Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. Rafinha Leão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Durvalino de Mendonça made a huge save. Dráusio Gonçalves hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Gildo Mandrak put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Durvalino de Mendonça. Durvalino de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Varela in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of The Power Guido FC booed when Florestal Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gildo Mandrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Durvalino de Mendonça stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gildo Mandrak's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. The Power Guido FC's Durvalino de Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save The Power Guido FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gildo Mandrak in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Durvalino de Mendonça saved The Power Guido FC from getting behind. After 44 played minutes Florestal Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Válbson Souto. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dráusio Gonçalves to strike the kick off in the second half. Durvalino de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Souto in the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, The Power Guido FC's Edmundo Prata got a free kick in the 55th minute. Durvalino de Mendonça came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Florestal Futebol Clube's Gildo Mandrak. But to his dismay, Gildo Mandrak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Durvalino de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafinha Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, The Power Guido FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gildo Mandrak came free, but Durvalino de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to The Power Guido FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Pedro Paulo Vides hit a great ball. When Felippe Monteiro fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Florestal Futebol Clube's protests and gave Felippe Monteiro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Florestal Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Felippe Monteiro hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Florestal Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Ronaldo Sabóia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dráusio Gonçalves. The corner led The Power Guido FC's Filipe Tasso to fire away a dangerous shot which Ronaldo Sabóia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ronaldo Leal struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Durvalino de Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Florestal Futebol Clube. Romário Pernambucano kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Gildo Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durvalino de Mendonça having to interfere. Durvalino de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafinha Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The Power Guido FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
