Nuno Leão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, XV de Piracicaba's goal looked a bit too open when Gualter Secco came free, but Nuno Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Raining Blood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birol Biron to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Matheus Mesquita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nuno Leão was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 24th minute Luís Eduardo Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo Leão in the 28th minute of play forced XV de Piracicaba's goalkeeper Nuno Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 played minutes Raining Blood got a freekick which was hit by Luís Eduardo Leão. After some careless play in the XV de Piracicaba defense, Gualter Secco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nuno Leão. The XV de Piracicaba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuno Leão should have stopped the shot. Nuno Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Eduardo Leão took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nuno Leão. Nuno Leão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 42 minutes into the match, Luís Eduardo Leão notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of XV de Piracicaba's Nuno Leão. Nuno Leão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enéas Brodel made a kick off. Ruy Gerber hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Nuno Leão made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Gualter Secco sent off a good shot on target. Nuno Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Raining Blood's Gualter Secco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nuno Leão. That made the score 0-7 after 69 minutes of play. After 73 played minutes Raining Blood got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Secco. Albertinho Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Augusto de Amaral in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Raining Blood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, XV de Piracicaba's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Figueiredo came free, but Nuno Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the game, Raining Blood's Laércio Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nuno Leão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Raining Blood played a much better game than XV de Piracicaba and deserved their victory. The XV de Piracicaba players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
