Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iuri Tinoco started the match with the kick off. Inácio de Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bola Forte, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Inácio de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bola Forte in the 4th minute of the match. Nilson Paranaense came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Iuri Tinoco. But to his dismay, Iuri Tinoco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nilson Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iuri Tinoco in the 15th minute of play. Léo Lopes's late challenge caught a Mamutes EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Léo Lopes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mamutes EC booed when Xapetuba Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Léo Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mamutes EC's Nilson Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson de Moraes in the 21st minute of play. Nilson Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Berger in the 28th minute of play. After some careless play in the Xapetuba Futebol Clube defense, Simão de Lara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inácio de Brito. The Xapetuba Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inácio de Brito should have stopped the shot. If Simão de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Inácio de Brito managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Mamutes EC's Simão de Lara fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Cesinha Palmeira got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cido Cosme in the 40th minute of play forced Xapetuba Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Inácio de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Bola Forte recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Inácio de Brito. Bola Forte showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 45th minute, Emílio Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute of the match Léo Lopes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nilson Paranaense skillfully saved the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bola Forte was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmyr Hoffmann in the 54th minute of play forced Xapetuba Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Inácio de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Bola Forte notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Inácio de Brito. Inácio de Brito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Xapetuba Futebol Clube booed when Mamutes EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugênio Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 minutes of play, Mamutes EC's Simão de Lara made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inácio de Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Inácio de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bola Forte in the 71st minute of the match. In the 78th match minute, Xapetuba Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Ronaldo Dantas scored 5-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inácio de Brito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Inácio de Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bola Forte, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Xapetuba Futebol Clube players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mamutes EC.
