Waldir Romero hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Albertinho Mattos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Guilherme Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albertinho Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Carvalho in the 18th minute of the match. Birol Biron kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 23 minutes of play, DENVER™'s Luiz Guilherme Toscano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albertinho Mattos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 29th match minute, Raining Blood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Linares to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Guilherme Toscano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albertinho Mattos having to make a save. In the 33rd minute Luiz Guilherme Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertinho Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 minutes of play, DENVER™'s Luiz Guilherme Toscano made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albertinho Mattos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mathias Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertinho Mattos having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Luís Eduardo Leão recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Paulo Baiano. Luís Eduardo Leão showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 53 minutes, Gualter Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raining Blood's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualter Secco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Paulo Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheus Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Guilherme Toscano's late challenge caught a Raining Blood's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Guilherme Toscano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Raining Blood booed when DENVER™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Guilherme Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raining Blood's Remo Magalhães was substituted for Matheus Mesquita. Raining Blood's Laércio Capixaba was substituted for Enrique Pombal. After 63 played minutes DENVER™ got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Guilherme Toscano. With 68 minutes on the clock, Caio de Mendonça commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 68th minute, one of DENVER™:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DENVER™. 69 minutes into the match, Waldir Santos notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of DENVER™'s João Paulo Baiano. João Paulo Baiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. DENVER™'s João Paulo Baiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Figueiredo in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of DENVER™ booed when Raining Blood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remo Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Waldir Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 89th minute, Gil Figueiredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Paulo Baiano was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. João Paulo Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Figueiredo in the 92nd minute of play. After 94 minutes of play, Raining Blood's Gil Figueiredo made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Paulo Baiano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raining Blood walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
