Luís Fábio Goiano hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 3 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Radamel Falcao sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abel Ortiz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 4 played minutes Brasiliense FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Toledo. Abel Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radamel Falcao, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Natã de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Agostinho Mendes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Edvaldo de Sousa made a huge save. If Radamel Falcao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Edvaldo de Sousa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorginho Quirino. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Edvaldo de Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fábio Goiano in the 20th minute of play forced CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Edvaldo de Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Fabinho Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Fabinho Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiaguinho Zanette charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiaguinho Zanette the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Agostinho Mendes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Edvaldo de Sousa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Luís Fábio Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brasiliense FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Fábio Goiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvaldo de Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiaguinho Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Eliseu Fernandez hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Natã de Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Fábio Goiano to make the kick off. When CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Radamel Falcao in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brasiliense FC's goalie prevented a goal. Brasiliense FC's Fabinho Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Luís Fábio Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Brasiliense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Fábio Goiano couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radamel Falcao in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Ortiz saved Brasiliense FC from getting behind. In the 81st minute, Wilson Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute of the match Natã de Toledo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abel Ortiz skillfully saved the ball. Edvaldo de Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabinho Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The supporters of CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA booed when Brasiliense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Natã de Toledo tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
