Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ronaldão Trevisan started the match with the kick off. Severino Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldão Trevisan in the 2nd minute of play. 3 minutes into the game, Cactos's Ronaldão Trevisan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severino Aguiar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Severino Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmyr Loureiro in the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of Red John S.K booed when Cactos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamílton Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reginaldo Donatello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gernando Domingues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Severino Aguiar came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Cactos's Ronaldão Trevisan. But to his dismay, Ronaldão Trevisan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Red John S.K's Christian Monteiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gernando Domingues. That made the score 1-2 after 28 minutes of play. Severino Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Leal in the 32nd minute of play. Marco Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Gernando Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Monteiro in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Cactos's goalkeeper Gernando Domingues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reginaldo Donatello. After the first half Cactos were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Monteiro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ronaldão Trevisan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cactos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. A collision led to Cactos getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Hamílton Trigo hit a great ball. The supporters of Red John S.K booed when Cactos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Christian Monteiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Gernando Domingues was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 73rd minute, Paulo dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severino Aguiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldão Trevisan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Christian Monteiro made a precise shot to the right of Gernando Domingues. Cactos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Cactos's Gernando Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Monteiro in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Cactos's Ronaldão Trevisan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-4. Gernando Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reginaldo Donatello, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 97 minutes, Marco Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cactos and the Red John S.K players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marco Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Cactos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
