With a little luck, AnÐaRaHy's Remo Freitas got control of the ball when Fábio Lopez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Remo Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Quintal in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Agua Santa's Alan Moreira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Remo Freitas. Remo Freitas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After having played for 45 minutes, Lúcio Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agua Santa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lúcio Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Nico Quintal came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Agua Santa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nico Quintal couldn't finish the play. Cléberson Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Tomé Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Nico Quintal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remo Freitas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Nico Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomé Mota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luizão Vidal in the 94th minute. AnÐaRaHy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
