After a rather tough play, HollywooDogs's Gilson Valle got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The supporters of Misericordia EC booed when HollywooDogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráuzio Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. HollywooDogs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Misericordia EC the free kick. HollywooDogs's Luís Paulo Diniz got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the game, Luís Paulo Diniz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HollywooDogs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Misericordia EC the free kick. In the 46th match minute, HollywooDogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Paulo Diniz to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdir Urbano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Wellington Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute Gilson Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iuri Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ana Čonda in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iuri Aparecido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilson Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match.
