The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Severino Aguiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severino Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Viana in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Pinho in the 28th minute of play forced Red John S.K's goalkeeper Severino Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lúcio Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Severino Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Quintal in the 35th minute of play. Reginaldo Donatello took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomé Mota. Tomé Mota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2.
