C.'s goalkeeper Douglas Viana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vitinho Freitas. 11 minutes into the match, Planet Caravan's goal looked a bit too open when Bruninho Bueno came free, but Jonathan Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Alberto Mendonça put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Teixeira. A collision led to SORRISO E. C. getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Bruninho Bueno hit a great ball. The supporters of SORRISO E. C. booed when Planet Caravan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belmiro Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mateus Salgado in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Teixeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aníbal Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Douglas Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Murillo de Almeida recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Douglas Viana. Murillo de Almeida showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 31st minute, André Mello made a precise shot to the right of Douglas Viana. SORRISO E. C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 35th minute Bruninho Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Félix hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamim Jacinto got free with Douglas Viana in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute Bruninho Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Douglas Viana made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Murillo de Almeida sent off a good shot on target. When Planet Caravan's Benjamim Jacinto in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SORRISO E. C.'s goalie prevented a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Mendonça to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Planet Caravan's Vitinho Freitas got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 60 played minutes Planet Caravan got a freekick which was hit by João Francisco Furtado. SORRISO E. C. made a substitution. Miguel da Rocha replaced Alfredo da Rocha. Alberto Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Jonathan Teixeira made a huge save. After 69 minutes of play, Planet Caravan's Benjamim Jacinto made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Douglas Viana was left in no man's land by his defense there! André Mello hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. SORRISO E. C.'s Douglas Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamim Jacinto in the 87th minute of play. Douglas Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamim Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After 93 minutes of play, Planet Caravan's Murillo de Almeida made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Douglas Viana was left in no man's land by his defense there! Planet Caravan's Aníbal Guedes got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Planet Caravan had won after a very even match.
