Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Abelardo Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson Saraiva in the 6th minute of play. With a little luck, INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Dida Little got control of the ball when Mazinho Damião tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abelardo Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Bucéfalo FC's João Vítor Nogueira got a free kick in the 15th minute. Abelardo Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válbson Saraiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serginho Arantes in the 22nd minute of play forced Bucéfalo FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Nico Godoi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dida Little. The goal made the score 1-0. Dadá Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Flavinho Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Válbson Saraiva in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Saraiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Washington Munhoz charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Washington Munhoz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Washington Munhoz hit a great ball. Abelardo Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Saraiva in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA were furious when Carlinhos Pinho was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA! Abelardo Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serginho Arantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abelardo Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabinho Queiroz in the 65th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinei Azevedo during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Claudinei Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Serginho Arantes scored 2-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Saraiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mazinho Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Little having to interfere. Sílvio Luís Trigo hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Flavinho Braga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Bucéfalo FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
