In the 10thth minute of the game Cléber Tróia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SORRISO E. C.'s Douglas Viana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 12 in the game by Oswaldo Paulista from a close distance when the talented Douglas Viana managed to make a qualified save. SORRISO E. C.'s players were relieved. In the 13th minute, Rodrigo Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SORRISO E. C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Didi Dionísio scored to the left of an out of position Douglas Viana, making the score, 2-1. A collision led to ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Abelardo Toscano hit a great ball. Douglas Viana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cléber Tróia's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Cauan Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Douglas Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oswaldo Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Viana having to interfere. If Oswaldo Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Betinho Queiroz during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th match minute, SORRISO E. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betinho Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Oswaldo Paulista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 45 minutes, Oswaldo Paulista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ and the SORRISO E. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oswaldo Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Mendonça stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Laerte França made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Horácio Pereira sent off a good shot on target. Eriberto da Fonseca took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Douglas Viana. Douglas Viana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 58th minute, Alberto Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laerte França was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. After 62 played minutes ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Lucas. ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's Laerte França played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Penha in the 63rd minute of play. If Oswaldo Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ made a substitution. Alan de Sousa replaced Abelardo Toscano. ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's Hamílton Velloso was substituted for Cauan Esteves. Douglas Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto da Fonseca in the 79th minute of the match. Douglas Viana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cido Queirós went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cido Queirós in the 85th minute of play forced SORRISO E. C.'s goalkeeper Douglas Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Douglas Viana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cido Queirós's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute of the match, Horácio Pereira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Laerte França saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. SORRISO E. C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
