Paulinho Souto started the match with the kick off. A collision led to ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Mané Matorin hit a great ball. Paulo Renato Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho Souto in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ were awarded a corner. Alberto Britto went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ booed when Callegari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breno Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Arruda got free with Paulo Renato Falcão in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Breno Pernambucano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Duarte in the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Callegari's Gustavo Duarte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Breno Pernambucano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Arruda got free with Paulo Renato Falcão in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute, Guto Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Duarte in the 28th minute of play forced ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goalkeeper Breno Pernambucano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Callegari were awarded a corner. Gabriel Ferraz went to the cornerflag to take it. Gabriel Ferraz made a great header on Callegari's corner, it was just that ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Breno Pernambucano managed to reach the ball for a save. Ramón Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. César Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breno Pernambucano having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramón Paraibano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Gustavo Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Callegari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Duarte couldn't finish the play. Jonas Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. A collision led to ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jonas Arruda hit a great ball. Callegari's Kaká Furtado was substituted for César Pires. After 71 played minutes ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Arruda. Breno Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Callegari's Giuseppe Sanches seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Giuseppe Sanches the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Callegari protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Giuseppe Sanches had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Callegari:s Paulo Renato Falcão showed great skill when he stopped Alberto Britto:s penalty. The audience was convinced that Jonas Arruda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Renato Falcão was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 87th minute, Paulinho Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Callegari booed when ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute Paulinho Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Renato Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Callegari had controlled the match.
