Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alessandro Mandrak kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Cícero Diniz got a free kick in the 6th minute. With a little luck, Várzea F.C.'s Serafim Mesquita got control of the ball when Adelino Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maurício Antunes in the 12th minute. After 14 minutes Várzea F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maurício Antunes who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Merusca F&P - CIMZ's corner Maurício Antunes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Serafim Mesquita quite easily take care of the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Alessandro Mandrak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Luiz Eduardo Faria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruninho Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, Merusca F&P - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieguinho Rossi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Mandrak in the 26th minute of play forced Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafim Mesquita didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. 37 minutes into the match, Cícero Diniz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Serafim Mesquita, 2-1. Várzea F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cícero Diniz 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. After 44th play minutes Adelino Costa shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Serafim Mesquita and just under the crossbar into goal. Serafim Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cícero Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Igor de Azevedo was substituted for Cícero Diniz. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adelino Costa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adelino Costa during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adelino Costa hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Maurício Antunes hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Várzea F.C.'s Filipe Mendonça seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Filipe Mendonça the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Várzea F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Filipe Mendonça had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Várzea F.C.! In the 64th minute Maurício Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafim Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Adelino Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serafim Mesquita was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. A collision led to Várzea F.C. getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Marco Mangueira hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Igor de Azevedo notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Várzea F.C.'s Serafim Mesquita. Serafim Mesquita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mathias Bueno in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafim Mesquita saved Várzea F.C. from getting behind. Mathias Bueno took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafim Mesquita. Serafim Mesquita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. Várzea F.C.'s Ramiro Rosado was substituted for Alessandro Mandrak. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Costa in the 81st minute of play forced Várzea F.C.'s goalkeeper Serafim Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafim Mesquita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maurício Antunes went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score. In the 86th minute Mathias Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafim Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Costa in the 90th minute of play forced Várzea F.C.'s goalkeeper Serafim Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Várzea F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Costa came free, but Serafim Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Igor de Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Serafim Mesquita. Várzea F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-1. Serafim Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
