Hortêncio Galvão took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for João Paulo Urbano. S.C. Reis United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. João Paulo Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Leal in the 8th minute of play. In the 14th minute Betão de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Barrera 2.0's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rafa Mello was slow to take the kick. During this time S.C. Reis United's players had a chance to rest. In the 18th match minute, S.C. Reis United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Reis to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Valério dos Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Paulo Urbano. S.C. Reis United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valério dos Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, S.C. Reis United's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Leal came free, but João Paulo Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to S.C. Reis United getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Betão de Carvalho hit a great ball. Betão Paulista made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Rafa Mello sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to FC Barrera 2.0 getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Mazinho Mattos hit a great ball. João Paulo Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Osvaldo Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valério dos Santos made a kick off. Adalberto Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 53 minutes into the match, FC Barrera 2.0's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Mello came free, but Betão Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute of the match S.C. Reis United got a corner. FC Barrera 2.0's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rafa Mello ran over to the corner to take the kick. Valério dos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but João Paulo Urbano made a huge save. FC Barrera 2.0's Valério dos Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henrique Trigo's late challenge caught a FC Barrera 2.0's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrique Trigo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, S.C. Reis United's Henrique Trigo got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute of the match Hortêncio Galvão sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Paulo Urbano skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of FC Barrera 2.0 booed when S.C. Reis United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válter Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafa Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Betão Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Betão Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa Mello in the 77th minute of play. If Valério dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Paulo Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mazinho Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the game, FC Barrera 2.0's Valério dos Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Paulo Urbano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. A collision led to S.C. Reis United getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Paulão Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Válter Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, FC Barrera 2.0's Hortêncio Galvão broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
