Betão de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Betão de Carvalho notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Shark FC - FSCMZ's Glauco Velloso. Glauco Velloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Glauco Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa Mello in the 16th minute of play. S.C. Reis United's João Paulo Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Bezerra in the 18th minute of play. Magno Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. S.C. Reis United's Rafa Mello got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 23 played minutes S.C. Reis United got a freekick which was hit by Clóvis Nunes. In the 24th match minute, Shark FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magno Linhares to maneuver through the defense. After 25 played minutes S.C. Reis United got a freekick which was hit by Betão de Carvalho. Glauco Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafa Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glauco Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. João Paulo Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei de Amorim in the 30th minute of play. Glauco Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Trigo in the 37th minute of play. Diguinho Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão de Carvalho in the 45th minute of play forced Shark FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Glauco Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Percival Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glauco Velloso came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Reis United's Rafa Mello. But to his dismay, Rafa Mello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa Mello in the 60th minute of play forced Shark FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Glauco Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Shark FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Trigo came free, but Glauco Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Henrique Trigo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Glauco Velloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 69th minute of the game, Hermínio Reis landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Teodoro Bezerra's late challenge caught a S.C. Reis United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Bezerra helped the player get up and apologised. Teodoro Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 72 played minutes Shark FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Dinei de Amorim. If Betão de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of S.C. Reis United booed when Shark FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinei de Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, S.C. Reis United's Clóvis Nunes got a free kick in the 79th minute. Shark FC - FSCMZ's Rui Mandrak couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for S.C. Reis United. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Betão de Carvalho in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Glauco Velloso saved Shark FC - FSCMZ from getting behind. Magno Linhares lost his temper 96 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Magno Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Rafa Mello came free in the 98th minute and tried to tip the ball over Glauco Velloso, but to the joy of Shark FC - FSCMZ's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. S.C. Reis United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
