Betão de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Henrique Trigo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulysses Peixoto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Válter Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Trigo in the 19th minute of play forced ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's goalkeeper Ulysses Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 minutes of play, ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Evaristo Mello made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Paulo Urbano was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in S.C. Reis United's zone, Glauco Gaúcho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Paulo Urbano came out of the goal and Glauco Gaúcho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Rafinha Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulysses Peixoto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafa Mello's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 36th minute Emerson Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulysses Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes of play, S.C. Reis United's Rafa Mello made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulysses Peixoto was left in no man's land by his defense there! The ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. S.C. Reis United were winning 1-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrique Trigo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Ulysses Peixoto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ from getting a goal against them. After 58 played minutes S.C. Reis United got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Guimarães. After some careless play in the ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ defense, Betão de Carvalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulysses Peixoto. The ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulysses Peixoto should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emerson Motta in the 70th minute of play forced S.C. Reis United's goalkeeper João Paulo Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Wilian Quadros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Paulo Urbano was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Natanael Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Wilian Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilian Quadros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Paulo Urbano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elói Koehler received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ulysses Peixoto came out and tried to block the shot, but Elói Koehler slotted it home off the left post making it 1-8 in the 82nd minute. 88 minutes into the match, ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Mello came free, but Ulysses Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 91 minutes on the clock, Rafinha Lopez commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The S.C. Reis United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing S.C. Reis United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
