Spectators: 205 (Terracing: 154, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dalmo Rocha started the match with the kick off. Dalmo Rocha scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmundo Falcão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 9th minute, Dalmo Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Edmundo Falcão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from César Alagoano went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After 20 played minutes Joinville City - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio de Alcântara. If Horácio Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 28 minutes into the game, Dalmo Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Edmundo Falcão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st minute, Paulo Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guilherme Mandrak took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edmundo Falcão. Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Edmundo Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmo Rocha in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute Dalmo Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmo Rocha took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmundo Falcão. Edmundo Falcão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6.

The wind increased when Luiz Fabiano Leão made the kick off in the second half. Edmundo Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmo Rocha in the 53rd minute of the match. Giuseppe Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Leão in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Leão in the 67th minute of play forced Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goalkeeper Giuseppe Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giuseppe Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Leão in the 70th minute of the match. In the 74th minute of the game, César Alagoano landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. César Alagoano came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edmundo Falcão could save by the left post. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Arthur Amaral was substituted for Gernando Mineiro. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Murilo Urbano was substituted for Guilherme Mandrak. In the 73rd minute, one of Joinville City - FSCMZ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Joinville City - FSCMZ. In the 85th minute, Luiz Fabiano Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Edmundo Falcão threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dalmo Rocha, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 94th match minute, Nova Iguaçu MZFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Braga to maneuver through the defense. Kauã Terra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giuseppe Lara having to make a save. The Joinville City - FSCMZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nova Iguaçu MZFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
