Spectators: 206 (Terracing: 155, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xande Gol started the match with the kick off. Silvinho Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Donato in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xande Gol in the 7th minute of play forced MUSHIBA FC's goalkeeper Murillo Valladares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Joel Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MUSHIBA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Joinville - FSCMZ the free kick. After a rather tough play, MUSHIBA FC's Joel Santos got a free kick in the 18th minute. Xande Gol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xande Gol spun around in front of the goal 28 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of MUSHIBA FC's goal. When Rodolfo Donato came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the MUSHIBA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Donato couldn't finish the play. Murillo Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chicão Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo Donato made a kick off. Rodolfo Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Silvinho Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Donato in the 54th minute of play. Rodolfo Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Silvinho Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Xande Gol was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 65th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. MUSHIBA FC's Tiaguinho Tróia was substituted for Joel Santos. New Joinville - FSCMZ's José Carlos Veiga was substituted for Luiz Fábio Baiano. In the 74th match minute, MUSHIBA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernandão Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Geovânio Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernandão Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The New Joinville - FSCMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing New Joinville - FSCMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
