The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marco Lorien hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, El Azulgrana's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Lando came free, but Aaron Estevon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Carolo Rico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Estevon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Frasco kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match Valentin Manex sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aaron Estevon skillfully saved the ball. Carolo Rico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Aaron Estevon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Lando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aaron Estevon having to make a save. When AFC FUSION's Carolo Rico in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in El Azulgrana's zone, Carolo Rico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Estevon came out of the goal and Carolo Rico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 37 minutes, Amadeo Mazuste mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Azulgrana and the AFC FUSION players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, El Azulgrana's Jonas Jaen got a free kick in the 40th minute. Amadeo Mazuste who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Carolo Isidor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 47th minute, Amadeo Mazuste fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 47th minute, El Azulgrana's Amadeo Mazuste ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carolo Isidor. Carolo Isidor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carolo Rico made a kick off. Carmelo Brais lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 55th minute, one of AFC FUSION:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AFC FUSION. Carolo Isidor had in the 57thth minute some difficulties stopping Jonas Jaen's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Carolo Rico came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the AFC FUSION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carolo Rico couldn't finish the play. After 80 played minutes El Azulgrana got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Cugat. Carolo Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Estevon having to interfere. When Ramiro Arnalt came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the AFC FUSION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Arnalt couldn't finish the play. Matias Fresco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carolo Isidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Jaen, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. During the 96th minute of the match Marcos Frasco completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marcos Frasco a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. AFC FUSION's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
