Growlithe FC:s Delmar Orlondon showed great skill when he stopped Rolando Txema:s penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Growlithe FC's zone, Celso Ceandro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmar Orlondon came out of the goal and Celso Ceandro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Candido Tibalt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Marz having to interfere. Gonzalo Aragones kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Growlithe FC's Omar Frechoso got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 3-0 became the score in the 33rd minute when Omar Frechoso elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 36 minutes, Aquilino Rencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Growlithe FC and the TATA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes Growlithe FC got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Rencio. If Candido Tibalt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, TATA FC's goalkeeper Basilio Marz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Frechoso. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saul Jakue during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Saul Jakue hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Omar Frechoso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Basilio Marz came out and tried to block the shot, but Omar Frechoso slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 41st minute. Basilio Marz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Frechoso in the 45th minute. If Candido Tibalt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Delmar Orlondon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Jakue, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute.
