Benjamin Abel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Faustino Lugo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6thth minute of the game Omar Frechoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DAMIAN TEAM's Faustino Lugo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 8 minutes, Omar Frechoso made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. DAMIAN TEAM's Faustino Lugo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Growlithe FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Melchor Izotz hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Gavino Benitez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Growlithe FC's Omar Frechoso in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DAMIAN TEAM's goalie prevented a goal. Ceferino Felo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Omar Frechoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faustino Lugo was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Faustino Lugo came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Growlithe FC's Omar Frechoso. But to his dismay, Omar Frechoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Evelio Johans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gavino Benitez was the one to do the kick off. Omar Frechoso scored 0-3 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faustino Lugo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Growlithe FC fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Growlithe FC's Omar Frechoso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A sloppy throw-in by Matias Truylos in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by DAMIAN TEAM's Edgard Gonchan. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Omar Frechoso sped through DAMIAN TEAM's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Faustino Lugo. Ceferino Felo kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Growlithe FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
