In the 15th match minute, Rebentala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Canor to maneuver through the defense. When A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Godfredo Marcones in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jaime Elazar hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When Primitivo Valiente came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Rebentala FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Valiente couldn't finish the play. After the first half Rebentala FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vinicio Sidoro was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's goalkeeper Jose Vitin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Fidel Oskitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinicio Sidoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jose Vitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Jose Vitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Sidoro in the 69th minute of play. Jose Vitin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernan Ladio in the 71st minute. Flavio Canor's late challenge caught a A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio Canor helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Rebentala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Canor to maneuver through the defense. Vinicio Sidoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Vitin having to interfere. After 81 minutes, Fernan Ladio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rebentala FC and the A.F Cuervos Azulgranas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rebentala FC's Fernan Ladio got a free kick in the 81st minute. Laureano Furtado charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laureano Furtado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rebentala FC booed when A.F Cuervos Azulgranas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The A.F Cuervos Azulgranas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rebentala FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Rebentala FC.
