Donato Ignazio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeledon Ixona in the 7th minute. In the 9th match minute, Loco De Remate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Bibiano to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Loco De Remate's Florencio Orlanda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Anibal Marquez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Donato Ignazio came out and tried to block the shot, but Anibal Marquez slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 25th minute. Salvador Itzaina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Samuel Mancio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Teofilio kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Donato Ignazio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Gamus, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Natalio Ur recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Donato Ignazio. Natalio Ur showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Argentinos Juniors booed when Loco De Remate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th match minute, Loco De Remate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Orlanda to maneuver through the defense. Florencio Orlanda took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Ignazio. Donato Ignazio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Donato Ignazio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florencio Orlanda went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. If Salvador Itzaina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Argentinos Juniors's Donato Ignazio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Orlanda in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Alvaro Resto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donato Ignazio. Argentinos Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Resto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. After a rather tough play, Argentinos Juniors's Fabian Teofilio got a free kick in the 81st minute. Natalio Ur, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Natalio Ur took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Ignazio. Donato Ignazio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Loco De Remate's Anibal Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Argentinos Juniors's goalkeeper Donato Ignazio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
