Benicio Gaitan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingo Larra went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Catarinense F.C. booed when ATLETICO TOSODELMA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Guillelmus didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Godfredo Gabon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Ixidor in the 18th minute of play forced Catarinense F.C.'s goalkeeper Benicio Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Domingo Larra made a precise shot to the right of Benicio Gaitan. Catarinense F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Benicio Gaitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Larra in the 23rd minute of the match. Benicio Gaitan came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by ATLETICO TOSODELMA's Guido Santikurtz. But to his dismay, Guido Santikurtz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Benicio Gaitan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Larra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Ixidor in the 31st minute of play forced Catarinense F.C.'s goalkeeper Benicio Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelino Ferrando hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Catarinense F.C.'s Benicio Gaitan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Larra in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Ferrando in the 47th minute of play forced Catarinense F.C.'s goalkeeper Benicio Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelino Ferrando in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benicio Gaitan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half ATLETICO TOSODELMA were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Godfredo Gabon made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, ATLETICO TOSODELMA's Marcelino Ferrando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benicio Gaitan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. If Godfredo Gabon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquilino Cortez got in the 60th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Julian Favila handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Julian Favila came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Catarinense F.C.'s Zacarias Bento. But to his dismay, Zacarias Bento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Catarinense F.C.'s Benicio Gaitan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Larra in the 69th minute of play. With a little luck, Catarinense F.C.'s Benicio Gaitan got control of the ball when Marcelino Ferrando tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benicio Gaitan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelino Ferrando in the 72nd minute. ATLETICO TOSODELMA's Guido Santikurtz suffered a concussion after 73 minutes and had to leave the field. Jacobo Benitez's late challenge caught a ATLETICO TOSODELMA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacobo Benitez helped the player get up and apologised. 76 minutes into the match, Marcelino Ferrando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benicio Gaitan. Catarinense F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelino Ferrando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Benicio Gaitan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Larra, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Benicio Gaitan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Galo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Catarinense F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ATLETICO TOSODELMA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
