The referee ignored Pink Floyd's protests and gave Fernando Gartxot a yellow card for diving instead. Pink Floyd's Cirilo Tebaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Frutos in the 39th minute of play. After some careless play in the Pink Floyd defense, Raimundo Mattin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cirilo Tebaldo. The Pink Floyd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cirilo Tebaldo should have stopped the shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artemio Peyo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Fernando Gartxot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pink Floyd's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Gartxot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Beltxe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute Artemio Peyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Beltxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Segundo Frutos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Cirilo Tebaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Segundo Frutos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cirilo Tebaldo having to make a save. Cirilo Tebaldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Acuña's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Cirilo Tebaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Segundo Frutos in the 81st minute. With a little luck, Pink Floyd's Cirilo Tebaldo got control of the ball when Raimundo Mattin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Pink Floyd's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Frutos came free, but Cirilo Tebaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pink Floyd's zone, Inocencio Erroman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cirilo Tebaldo came out of the goal and Inocencio Erroman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Segundo Frutos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Segundo Frutos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cirilo Tebaldo having to make a save.
