After a rather tough play, AC Batán's Alfredo Poncio got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 8 minutes into the match, Pink Floyd's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Claude came free, but Cirilo Tebaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Alejandro-Ramón Calderón De La Barca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cirilo Tebaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Claude, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Benedicto Claude sped through Pink Floyd's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cirilo Tebaldo. After a defensive mix-up in Pink Floyd's zone, Alfredo Poncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cirilo Tebaldo came out of the goal and Alfredo Poncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Israel Frisco hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Fernando Gartxot charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Gartxot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Pink Floyd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Gartxot to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Francisco Artal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Benedicto Claude sped through Pink Floyd's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cirilo Tebaldo. The audience was convinced that Benedicto Claude's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cirilo Tebaldo was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. When Ovidio Orland came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the AC Batán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Orland couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the match, Ovidio Orland notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Pink Floyd's Cirilo Tebaldo. Cirilo Tebaldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artemio Peyo was the one to do the kick off. If Benedicto Claude had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Claude's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cirilo Tebaldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. AC Batán's Jonatan Ursino pulled a muscle in his back after 64 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 69th play minutes Benedicto Claude shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Cirilo Tebaldo and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Pink Floyd's Felipe Galtero got a free kick in the 73rd minute. A collision led to AC Batán getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Denis Hurko hit a great ball. Benedicto Claude received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Cirilo Tebaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Clodoveo Blanco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pink Floyd and the AC Batán players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th minute, Clodoveo Blanco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Benedicto Claude had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cirilo Tebaldo. Pink Floyd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedicto Claude was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Alfredo Poncio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cirilo Tebaldo having to make a save. Clodoveo Blanco kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Pink Floyd's Cirilo Tebaldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Pink Floyd from getting a goal against them. Benedicto Claude succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 94th playminute.
