Narciso Peruxu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Maximiliano-Exequiel Haagentoft when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 11th minute, Benedicto Claude hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximiliano-Exequiel Haagentoft made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso Peruxu in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the game, ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB's Ezequiel Nalo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximiliano-Exequiel Haagentoft made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ezequiel Nalo during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Benedicto Claude ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amado Urtungo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 24 minutes into the match, AC Batán's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Duarte came free, but Maximiliano-Exequiel Haagentoft reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rogelio Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Orland struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Amado Urtungo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Batán. In the 33rd minute, Felix Foro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Poncio's late challenge caught a ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Poncio helped the player get up and apologised. Alfredo Poncio hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Benedicto Claude managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Batán's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Claude was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amado Urtungo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximiliano-Exequiel Haagentoft made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Ezequiel Nalo sent off a good shot on target.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedicto Claude to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonatan Ursino during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, AC Batán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Ursino to maneuver through the defense. Maximiliano-Exequiel Haagentoft took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Pasqual, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, AC Batán's Jonatan Ursino got a free kick in the 68th minute. Vicente Lando took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maximiliano-Exequiel Haagentoft. AC Batán's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 78th minute, Benedicto Claude got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amado Urtungo came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Batán's Benedicto Claude. But to his dismay, Benedicto Claude quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. AC Batán's Maximiliano-Exequiel Haagentoft played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Lando in the 86th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB's Orlando Pasqual nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximiliano-Exequiel Haagentoft made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Maximiliano-Exequiel Haagentoft made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Duarte in the 92nd minute of play. Benedicto Claude sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
