But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Gaskon couldn't finish the play. Hilario Uxio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Faustino Horado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubaldo Quilino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Txilar in the 20th minute of play. Faustino Horado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severino Gaskon went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ubaldo Quilino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Min in the 31st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hilario Uxio during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Celestiales booed when ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Confesor didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilfredo Ibon was the one to do the kick off. Wilfredo Ibon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ubaldo Quilino came out and tried to block the shot, but Wilfredo Ibon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, Celestiales's Hilario Uxio got a free kick in the 68th minute. Ubaldo Quilino made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Wilfredo Ibon sent off a good shot on target. Celestiales's Ubaldo Quilino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Ibon in the 72nd minute of play. Faustino Horado came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Celestiales's Severino Gaskon. But to his dismay, Severino Gaskon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
