Reynaldo Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Katia, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 40 minutes into the match, Atlético Matorrales's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Lico came free, but Reynaldo Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Roano in the 41st minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafino Lico was the one to do the kick off. Serafino Lico scored 1-3 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynaldo Franco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Eigtheenstars 2 booed when Atlético Matorrales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Firme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruperto Regis hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Eigtheenstars 2's Constantino Roano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Fabio Pacifico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafino Lico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Reynaldo Franco made a huge save. Atlético Matorrales's Reynaldo Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Roano in the 95th minute of play.
